What is the MakeupEraser

Makeup Eraser LLC.

Remove your makeup with just water, reusable, add no chemicals!

What makes the Makeup Eraser the Makeup Eraser?

First it is imperative to understand that everything used in our current product or future products, pass fabric testing required by the US government. This product has been tested and used by testers for over 5 years with no side effects other than a smoother face!

The fabric itself has been in use for many years in other prodcuts.

But still is the question
what are the chemicals used for the manufacturing of this product?

Polyester is, chemically, a fiber made of poly(ethylene terephthalate).
Polyester itself requires a disperse dye. Disperse dye is considered non-toxic.
This Polyester also requires a silicon softener. In general the use of silicones has now eliminated emissions of chlorinated organic compounds. Silicones are the organometallic polymers derived from the abundant raw material on earth, sand!

As with all chemicals, the chemicals used for makeup eraser if ingested may cause serious side effects and our manufacture uses advanced safety processes to help protect our planet. We do instruct everyone to wash the makeup eraser prior to use as with any clothing or product used on your skin.

The product has also been tested for flammability and it is considered a Class 1or Normal Flammability.

Please understand that as with any fabric that you use on your skin i.e. the cloths on your body, towels, etc...; there are processes that are used to create that product with require advanced chemistry. However, the competition for the makeup eraser are chemicals that must be repurchased month after month and actually are absorbed into the skin. If someone is using makeup and their concern is the chemicals used in our product...anyone with a sense of humor would notice the irony.

We understand the desire to see the exact breakdown for each step in the process of creating the makeup eraser but that process and formula is confidential to our company and we expect everyone can respect the need to keep that information confidential. Please note that the discussion of all natural refers to not having to add additional chemicals to the cloth to remove makeup!

The MUE is a very high quality luxury blend of polyester fibers. It has a smooth surface to each "thread" so it does not scratch you skin. The smooth fibers grab the makeup and hold on to it until you wash it in your washer (or hand wash it). They will not transfer makeup back to your skin. Because the fibers are smooth and very dense, it makes it very soft on your face. the MUE is weaved and that is also what makes it special... MUE is not looped, it is a straight smooth shaft (each little fiber).

In fact our product is Quoted from as this. "The MUE is made of Luxury polyester! The heat from the WARM water opens the pores, and the proprietary blend of polyester fibers in the cloth have wicking properties that gently wick the products away from the skin. The circular motion allows the tiny fibers from the fabric to work in all directions to remove large and small particles while also capturing and binding the products to prevent transfer back onto the skin. Submerging the cloth in water in the washing machine allows the fibers to release the bound particles and be reusable time and time again.

It's made out of Polyester only, it does not release any chemicals when you wet it. It is the structure of the fiber or filament and the sheering that makes it work. It does not dry out your skin like a micro-fiber, it's non-abrasive for sensitive and skin prone to acne and it removes make-up with just warm water!!!

Polyester is made from Plant fibers,,, it's synthetic because it is man made but it is not plastic. Germs and microorganisms can't grow in polyester. Hold up a black light to a used towel or wash cloth and it will be teaming with microorganisms, etc but hold up a black light to a used MUE after a couple days of use and it won't.

MUEs do not transfer germs and bacteria back to the face. So it's great for sensitive skin. The MUE cloth is inherently anti-microbial. It's not a micro-fiber which tears your skin cells and is abrasive.

In a nutshell the MUE is made out of Polyester only, Polyester is not a true fiber, it is a 'plastic fiber. Bacteria won't penetrate into the 'fibers' of the cloth... Rinsing the eraser with hot water will prevent harmful bacteria. it does not release any chemicals when you wet it. It is the structure of the fiber or filament and the sheering that makes it work. It does not dry out your skin like a micro-fiber, it's non-abrasive for sensitive and skin prone to acne and it removes make-up with just warm water!!!
