What is Pay Your Selfie?
A free app for iOS and Android that pays you cash for your selfies. Isn’t it about time?
Are there any restrictions?
Yep, but only a few. You need to be 18 years old, per our Terms of Use, and follow the task.
How does it work?
Tap the red pig in the corner to see a list of available selfie offers. Select a selfie. Tap to open the full screen of details. Then smile and say “PORK!” As you accrue selfies, watch your piggy bank balance grow over time. When it reaches $20, you can cash out and we’ll send you a check. Taking selfies has never been so rewarding.
I’ve completed all the tasks. When will there be new ones?
You speed demon, you! We’re working hard to offer more tasks. Until then, hold tight and check back daily, as we typically release one new task a day. You can always count on $1 Selfie Saturdays, and new tasks most other days.
Why are my selfies being rejected?
Are you reading the task and following the directions? Be sure to tap for details on every task to see the criteria for payment. Pay Your Selfie is like a scavenger hunt, so some tasks are easier, while others need a little more effort. Some may not apply to everyone. Most importantly, make sure you’re in it — otherwise it’s not a selfie!
Does it really need to be a selfie?
Sometimes it’s hard to take a selfie and fit everything in. As long as you’re in it, that counts!
How long does the cash out process take?
Once you submit a cash out request, we need to review your selfies. Within a few days, Pay Your Selfie will send you a status on your cash out request (so make sure we have your real email address when you sign up!). If approved, your check should arrive within 7-10 business days.
My cash out was not approved. Now what?
If your cash out didn’t make the cut, your status update will say so and provide tips on how to improve your selfie success.
I tried to cash out, but couldn’t. Why?
If you don’t have $20 in your account, you won’t be able to cash out.
My photo was rejected, but I think it should have been approved.

What happens with my selfies?
Selfies are happiest when they’re shared! We keep a copy of your selfies within our secure database. We may post your selfies on our social pages (check us out on Facebook), or we may provide your selfie to a brand, so they can see how people are using their products. We never provide your personalized information such as name or email. We’re simply keeping tabs on lifestyle trends — kinda like a survey through a selfie.
What do you take when I grant access to my camera roll?
We only take the one photo you select to upload for a given task. The rest we leave behind!
My selfie couldn’t be validated. Why?
There could be a variety of reasons. Check your phone’s settings to ensure location services are turned on — some tasks require location services to validate that your selfie was taken at a specific location. Other reasons for your selfie not validating may include a weak internet connection, or your selfie did not meet the offer criteria.
Why do I need location services to be turned on?
Some tasks require your phone’s location services to validate that your selfie was taken at a precise location that matches an offer. Go to your phone’s settings and be sure location services are turned on.
Can I export the selfies in my gallery?
You can send selfies to yourself and friends via email, text, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest or Twitter, then save anywhere you’d like.
What’s with all the pig references?
Why else? It’s a piggy bank, man. Watch it grow fatter over time.
