10 High Fiber Snacks

Fiber Face Off: Top 10 High Fiber Snacks

Allison Weigel | December 31, 2013

http://SKINNYFIBERSTORE.INFO

The average American only eats about 15 grams of protein every day, which means most of us are severely deficient in fiber. Fiber is important for heart health, fighting off certain cancers, preventing Diabetes, and promoting weight loss. People who eat high fiber diets tend to eat less because high fiber foods usually taking longer to chew and longer to digest.

Do you have a high FQ (Fiber IQ)? Test yourself to see which of the healthy snacks below stack up on the high fiber scale. A food that contains 5 grams of fiber or more per serving is considered high fiber and a food that provides between 2.5 and 4.9 grams of fiber per serving is considered a “good source” of fiber.

Which of the yummy snacks below are “good” sources of fiber and which are considered to be a “high” fiber snack?

1. Pistachios. The almond isn’t the only nut in town. Pistachios are also a good source of fiber at 2.9 grams per ounce (49 kernels).

2. One ounce (19 chips) of Garden of Eatin’ Baked Yellow Tortilla Chips with 1/2 cup of cooked black beans. At 6 grams of fiber, beans are an excellent high fiber snack and a great source of protein. The chips alone are also a GOOD source at 3 grams. Together this snack offers you 9 grams of fiber and is totally delicious and filling! (photo credit)

4. 2 Wasa Crispbreads with Laughing Cow Light Swiss Original Wedge. Each Wasa Crispbread has 2 grams of fiber, so basically you can control how much fiber you get based on how many crispbreads you eat. I said two (4 grams) because that’s about how many you would use before you run out of spreadable cheese. This would be a GOOD snack and definitely satiating for the cheese lovers out there! With just a couple more steps, you can add tomato and cucumber slices with a dash of black pepper and you’ll be wanting to pack this snack daily. ()

The #1 Ingredient for Weight Loss

The #1 Ingredient for Weight Loss

Beth Krumbein | July 28, 2014

While there are tons of diets out there, filling up on fiber is perhaps the healthiest and most successful way to shed the pounds. A groundbreaking study at Harvard showed the importance of fiber as it relates to weight loss. The study, which spanned over 12 years, showed that the women who increased their fiber instead of decreasing it, were half as likely to become obese. Simply adding fiber to their diet changed everything for their health. Not only will fiber help you lose weight, fiber also helps to prevent nasty illnesses like heart disease, diabetes, and cancer

http://SKINNYFIBERDIETS.INFO

What is fiber anyways? Fiber is found in all plants, but not meat or dairy. Fiber helps you to feel full for longer as it keeps blood sugar levels stable, keeping those cravings to a minimum. It is important that women get at least 25 grams of fiber per day in the form of both soluble and insoluble fiber. Soluble fiber dissolves in water and is responsible for lowering cholesterol, maintaining a healthy colon, and preventing digestive problems such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome and diarrhea. When mixed with water in the body, soluble fiber becomes a sticky gel-like substance that healthily slows the digestion of food. (via Dietitians of Canada) Be sure to add these soluble fiber foods to your diet: http://SKINNYFIBERDIETS.INFO

  • oatmeal
  • lentils
  • apples
  • strawberries
  • nuts
  • flaxseeds
  • beans
  • blueberries
  • psyllium
  • carrots

Insoluble fibers can be described as the “roughage” of the digestive tract. It adds bulk to the diet and has a laxative effect in the body, helping to prevent constipation. Insoluble fibers are found mostly in whole grains and vegetables. (via WebMD)

http://SKINNYFIBERDIETS.INFO

Add these high insoluble fiber foods to your grocery list:

  • whole wheat bread
  • seeds
  • brown rice
  • zucchini
  • broccoli
  • tomatoes
  • dark leafy vegetables
  • raisins
  • fruit
  • root vegetable skins

The awareness that fiber is essential for weight loss is becoming better known, and big companies that produce processed foods are picking up on it,but beware. Many companies are creating “faux fibers” that are synthetically made in a laboratory or highly processed. They add this faux fiber to their products as a ploy to lure in consumers. This fiber does not have the same beneficial qualities as fiber found in plant based foods. So if you’re looking to up your fiber intake, it is best to stick to real, whole foods. (via Prevention)

http://SKINNYFIBERDIETS.INFO

To get the most out of your fiber intake, add a variety of plant-based foods to every meal. In a matter of weeks, you’ll begin to see the pounds melting away! Need a few high-fiber snack ideas? Click here.

GLUCOMANNAN High in fiber, Glucomannan is an enzyme that helps the digestive system. It reduces cholesterol, treats constipation, helps to raise glucose in type 2 diabetic persons without significantly affecting insulin. What that means is that when you eat food especially carbs, it all turns into glucose to be used for fuel. But Skinny Fiber can helps prevent the insulin spikes and sugar crashes that making people crave more carbs shortly after it's been consumed. That's why a lot of people experience crash after a carb loaded meal, and then want more sooner after! Skinny Fiber Prevents this!

Glucomannan expands 50 times when taken with a full glass of water to help one feel fuller, which lowers appetite and aids in weight loss.

CARALLUMA FIMBRIATA POWDER Caralluma Fimbriata quenches thirst and suppresses hunger. It is believed to block enzymes that form fat in the body. It is used by natives who go out for hunting, especially in famine prone areas and where there is a scarcity of food.

Yes Skinny Fiber WORKS DO THIS

Just yesterday someone told me they did not feel as hungry as before but not losing...asked if they had cut the sugar and junk carbs and the answer was not really.....Your body cannot burn body fat if your insulin levels are too high. You can exercise and do everything else right, but if your insulin levels are high…you will not burn body fat. The best way to insure low insulin levels is either by eating foods that are not processed and do not contain sugar-- eat real food - meat , eggs veggies, moderate fruit nuts..anything that is not man made will help you keep insulin levels low and keep your body in fat burning mode.

Asked if she took it 30-60 minutes before meals with at least 16 ounces of water...the answer was not every day...The SF will work by helping you feel full and curb cravings. The #1 challenge to losing weight is over eating. Taken up to 60 minutes before you eat and always stopping before you are full is very important.Asked if she made sure to eat protein snacks or small meals every 3-4 hours and the answer was no. Real food is what you find around the outer aisles of the supermarket. This is where you find the fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, and dairy. You also find it in the frozen food cases. you will be more easily satiated because your body will get nutrients from real food. Real foods are nutrient dense and will not ignite cravings.

A few things to Ask yourself...What is your typical day of food?? Enough calories?? too many?? Are you eating 4-6 small meals ...real food not boxed or pre- made?? Do you have any health issues?? How old are you-- does your family have a history of obesity? Keep a food journal -- get at least 64 ounces of water -- follow this-- I give this to everyone whether you use Skinny Fiber or not --there are so many small changes that make a big difference--Here are some basic tips I have come up with in my many years of trying to lose that will help out on your weight loss journey!!!

1) Change the way you think about food...eat to live not live to eat!

2) NEVER drink calories!!! Soda and juice are full of sugar!!

3) Limit the carbs---bread pasta and potatoes--- STAY AWAY from premade boxed foods...worst ever high carb and sodium--low in vital nutrients!!! Big weight loss stopper!!! Avoid "LOW FAT" "NO FAT" usually loaded with sugar!!

4) Eat 4-6 small meals a day

5) Drink at least 64 ounces of water a day

6) Move your body...any amount of movement is good!

7) Focus on one change at a time

http://www.SKINNYFIBERSALE.INFO

Do not measure your success with the scale--measure yourself...get out a pair of jeans you can not wear anymore and look at them everyday...try them on once a week! These are your "dream jeans"

9) Visit the support group often...the motivation could make all the difference!

10) Tell yourself you are worth it...you can do it and see yourself the way you want to be---I believe in you!!! ~Live for the day....know that we all fall.. just get back up!

1. Know your health issues. If you are an unhealthy person, please expect that it may take longer for you to lose weight. Reason being is that you need to get healthy first before your body will be READY to lose this extra weight. You may have some health issues due to the fact that you are overweight. (please believe I am not being rude here, as I myself was almost considered obese when I started my journey). In the beginning of starting your Skinny Fiber journey (ONLY if you are unhealthy) you may consider taking 2 capsules 3x a day) If you do this you may need to buy (the first month you join) the Buy 2 get 1 Free or the Buy 3 get 3 Free so you have extra product. You see normally 1 bottle will last you 30 days if you take 2 capsules 2x a day (there are 120). So if you take 2 capsules 3x a day or 3 capsules 2x a day you will need 180 capules for the first month. If you are unhealthy I highly suggest taking the 6 capsules for at least 2- 3 months (60- 90 days) without fail.

2. Drink PLENTY of water........ The directions say to drink 8 ounces of water when you take your capsules, but personally for me I drink 16 ounces. (a full water bottle) then in between my next dose I will drink another 16 ounces. For ME THIS WAS THE HARDEST PART of taking the product. I was NEVER a water drinker! But now I am on my 53rd day of my 90 day challenge and drinking water has become very easy.. I'm actually kind of craving it now.

3. Take it EVERY SINGLE day....... Ummmmm actually this is usually the hardest for people to do... They order the product, take it maybe every other day, forget doses and then tell me they want a refund... Seriously??? Come ON!! If you are SERIOUS about finally getting healthy, waging war on this obesity epidemic then we need to do this completely COMMITTED! Set a reminder on your cell phone. If you come to me and say this product doesn't work, I am going to ask you 2 questions. How unhealthy are you? And... Did you take the product (honestly)?

4. I get this question all the time... . What if I don't eat on a normal schedule. My answer is then take the Skinny Fiber product as if it's medication. Take it every day at the same time like clock work and you'll notice some amazing things will start happening!
